Jose has been coaching for over 12 years at different YMCA and USA club teams. He has directly developed athletes from the novice level all the way through USA nationally ranked top 10. He has had athlete win Junior Olympics, YMCA State Championships, YMCA and NJ State record holders, Eastern Zone winners, USA Sectional qualifiers, and YMCA Short Course and Long Course qualifiers.
ASSISTANT COACH – Pete Coreschi
Pete Coreschi swam for MEY for 11 years. He was an assistant coach at MEY from 1994-1998 . From 1996 through 1998, Pete held the head coaching spot at Metuchen Municipal Pool. After a break from coaching, he returned to MEY in April 2008 as an assistant coach. In April 2009, he took over as head coach until August 2012. Pete currently is a team consultant and assistant coach.
ASSISTANT COACH – Kathleen Dela Cruz

Kathleen Dela Cruz swam for MEY for 10 years. She is currently entering her third year as an assistant coach for the 12 and under age group. In addition to coaching MEY, she has also coached the MMP summer swim team. Kathleen currently attends the Rutgers University College of Nursing. She looks forward to continuing to work with young swimmers and giving back to the team that has given so much to her.
ASSISTANT COACH – Jimmy Petroziello

Coach Jimmy has been coaching swimming for over 30 years. He is an American Swim Coaches Association Level 5 coach. He has been an 8 time NJ Swimming Zone’s coach and has had 25 swimmers at the top 10 in the Nation according to Swimming World magazine. He co-founded the Jersey Gators USS swim club and is also an Assistant Coach for the St. Joe’s high school swim team.
ASSISTANT COACH – Erin Volosin

Coach Erin swam for MEY for 7 seasons while qualifying for both Spring and Summer Nationals. She also swam 4 years for Albright College. Erin is an elementary school teacher in Old Bridge. She is entering her second season coaching with MEY and will work primarily with the Senior 2 group.
ASSISTANT COACH – Regina Rush

Coach Regina swam for MEY for 10 of her 11 years swimming. Her first Nationals with MEY was in 1998. She attended every Nationals until she graduated in 2003. Coach Regina swam for Bishop George Ahr High School and received and athletic scholarship to Duquesne University. In 2009 she joined the MEY coaching staff and helped our senior swimmers with Long Course Nationals. She returned to MEY to coach in the Fall, 2011 with the Junior groups. Coach Regina is the lead coach for the J3 group.
ASSISTANT COACH – Mike Volski

Mike has been swimming for 14 years on teams including MEY, Scarlet Aquatic, Fanwood YMCA, and Montclair State University. A practitioner of crossfit and a diving coach at the Metuchen Municipal Pool for the past 2 years, Mike is looking forward to bringing his knowledge to help build great swimmers.
ASSISTANT COACH – Ryan Carlucci

Ryan swam for MEY for 10 years. He also swam for St. Joseph’s High School. This past summer, Ryan was an assistant coach with the Edison Community Team. In addition to coaching, Ryan is also a full time college student. Ryan will be working with the junior groups at MEY.
